Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, stop over at the Equator

Since it is a very long drive from Kampala to the park approximately 9 hours, you will need to begin the journey very early in the morning to avoid the Kampala rush hour traffic jam. You will have early morning breakfast at around 06:00am such that by the time your driver/guide reaches at 06:30am, you are done. Our driver/guide will first brief you about the 3 days gorilla trekking Uganda safari and then you will embark on a 9-10hr journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Upon reaching Kayabwe, you will stop over to have a close look to the Uganda Equator sign and the beautiful crafts made by the Ugandan people. After you will continue with your journey and make another stopover in Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara for lunch then continue as you enjoy the beautiful scenic views of the countryside.

You will arrive at your hotel in Bwindi in the evening, check in, have dinner and have a rest since you have had a long journey.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and visit the Batwa People

You will definitely be told how to behave when you are with these unique giants and during the trekking experience as well.

After the briefing, you will be given a park guide/ranger to take you through the trails that will lead you to the habitats of the Mountain Gorillas. The activity of Gorilla trekking is indeed an interesting moment when interacting with man’s closest friend.

Trekking normally takes between 3-8 hours depending on the location of gorillas and once you are done, you will head back to the lodge to have lunch.

After lunch, you will rest for a few hours and right after that our guide will take you for a visit to the Batwa people. These initially lived within the Park’s premises but following the establishment of the park to pave way for conservation of gorillas and other wildlife species, they were resettled in areas surrounding the park and reintroduced to agriculture.

While close to them, you will get to a chance to see them perform for you a cultural dance, share their life stories and history with you. After all this, you will head back to the hotel for dinner and rest

Day 3: Transfer Back to Kampala/Entebbe

You will wake up very early, pack you stuff and have breakfast then check out of the hotel. By exactly 8: 00 AM, you will start your 9-10hour journey back to Kampala/Entebbe. By late evening, you will already be at your hotel or our driver/guide will drop you at Entebbe Airport to catch your direct flight back home.
