Detailed Itinerary for the 3 days Murchison Falls National Park
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, stop over at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
You are advised to wakeup very early in the morning and have your break first at around 7:00 am such that by the time the driver/ guide meets you at the hotel, he will brief you about this 3 days Murchison Falls National Park safari. After the briefing, you will set off for a 6hr drive to the great Murchison Falls National Park.
Before you get to park, you will branch off to the Popular Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to spot the huge Rhinos for approximately one hour.
You will then continue with your journey and will make another stopover at Masindi to have lunch. Immediately after lunch, you will again head for your journey to Murchison falls national park. By early evening hours, you will be checking in to your hotel or lodge, have dinner and then relax.

Day 2: Early morning game drive, boat cruise on the Victoria Nile and hiking to the top of the falls
You will wake up early and take your breakfast which will be served at the hotel. Immediately after break first, you will set off for a game drive along the Lake Albert Delta. During this morning game drive, you will have a clear view of the park’s great Savannah grasslands and a variety of wild animals in their habitats.
Among the animals you will see are; warthogs, hyenas, giraffes, lions, antelopes and different species of primates. After this game drive, you then head back to your hotel to have lunch and prepare for the boat cruise.
The boat cruise is likely to start at exactly 2:00pm. During the boat cruise, you will have a chance to spot about 200 species of birds which include the famous shoe bill stork, king fishers, Osprey, black headed lapwing, long toed plover among others. You will also see the Nile crocodiles, monitor lizards, hippos and elephants. The boat will slowly take you to the foot of the great Murchison Falls where you will hike to the top. The perfect scenic views of the falls will give you a great surprise and a memorable moment.
After all these, you will be picked up by the driver and taken back to the hotel. You will then freshen up, relax and get ready for dinner.

Day 3: Second morning Game drive – Transfer back to your hotel
Just like the previous day, you will begin the third day of your 3 days Murchison Falls National Park safari with a quick breakfast. Our driver/guide will pick you up and head for another game drive in a different sector of the park where you will have a chance to spot a variety of wild animals.
After the game drive, you will head back to the hotel to check out. You will then start your journey and stop over at Masindi for lunch and then continue with your journey to Kampala/Entebbe.
